Day 1 Sarajevo Arrival
Arrival at Sarajevo Airport. Pick-up from the airport and check-in at your hotel. The afternoon is reserved for your free time.
Day 2 Sarajevo
After breakfast join us on the Sarajevo tour. Our first point of the visit is Vrelo Bosne – the spring of river Bosnia. Then we’ll have a walking tour of the old town Bascarsija, Brusa bezistan – covered marketplace, Gazi Husref Bey Mosque- built in 1530 during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husref Bey Madras, Morica han built in 1551. Optional lunch at a local restaurant then we will continue the tour with a visit to Vijecnica – a town hall from the Austro – Hungarian era and visit the Latin bridge place where the Austro-Hungarian Archduke was assassinated which triggered World War I. After this fascinating tour, free time for shopping before we return to the hotel and overnight.
Day 3 Sarajevo – Konjic – Mostar
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Konjic (60 kilometers/1 hour of drive) for a full-day Herzegovina tour. Presenting Neretva River which makes Herzegovina a Mediterranean oasis offering all kinds of experiences: from mountainous terrain to the offerings of local villagers to religious tourism and excellent cuisine. In the Upper canyon, there are some of the most breathtaking views in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is said that rafting down the Neretva River is one of the most wonderful things a person can experience. In Konjic and surrounding places several rafting clubs offer an unforgettable but safe and comfortable passage through the 23 km long Neretva canyon. Optional lunch at a local restaurant on Neretva River. We will continue with the drive to Mostar (70 kilometers/1 hour drive), the largest city in Herzegovina and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. Upon arrival, a city tour – visiting the oldest single arch stone bridge in Mostar, the Cejvan Cehaj Mosque, the Koski Mehmed Pasa Mosque, and the Biscevica alley. Return to the hotel in Sarajevo (130 kilometers/2 hours of drive). Overnight.
Day 4 Sarajevo – Travnik
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a tour in Travnik. For over 150 years, the Vizier – the Ottoman Sultan’s representative in Bosnia – had his headquarters in this town, attracting both consulates and trade. Travelers who visited Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul and the most oriental town in Bosnia. Upon arrival, we will visit the Old Town, Museum (birth house of the famous Nobel prize winner Ivo Andrić) and Sulejmanija Mosque (Colourful Mosque). Back to Sarajevo. Overnight.
Day 5 Sarajevo
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day for shopping and personal activities.
Day 6 Sarajevo Departure
Breakfast and check out from the hotel. Transport to the airport.
